Citynet Insurance Brokers have arranged a new liability facility for Optis Insurance in the Republic of Ireland with Amlin.

Optis insurances are an innovative product producer who use the internet to distribute "small ticket" commercial insurance products to their panel of brokers, in Ireland.

Using web technology, all policy quotations and cover are provided and bound in real time, along with the relevant documentation.  This system provides contract certainty in real time, which is a major attraction to underwriters, along with the considerable efficiencies involved in electronic trading.

Citynet worked closely with Amlin and Optis to bring this project to fruition.  "We are delighted at the close partnership which we developed with Optis in getting this project up and running in a short time frame" said Richard Scott a Director of Citynet.  "Optis are a start up company who have a vision of efficient product distribution which closely mirrors that of Citynet, and we are very optimistic for the long term future of this and other joint-ventures".
